The metal constructions sector includes a considerable number of companies, which differ in the size and complexity of the products they manufacture.
The domestic metal constructions market followed an upward trend in the period 1994-2008 with an average annual rate of change of 12.8% in value and 10.9% in quantity. However, since 2009 the metal constructions market has declined sharply in Greece (cumulative decrease of 66% in value and 55% in quantity in the period 2008-2016).
