The overall domestic production of air conditioning machinery has registered a significant fall over the last years (cumulative fall of 90.2% in 2017 compared to 2008).
The domestic market of coolers (sales in items) dropped by 10.2% in 2017 while sales of central air conditioning units also followed a downward trend.
The total sales of split units registered an annual rise of 8.6% in 2017 compared to 2016. Semi-central systems also increased during the same period (+8.2%).
